# A Dusty Trip: the endless desert road trip on Roblox

A Dusty Trip is a Roblox survival driving game from the group Jandel's Road Trip, released on February 16, 2024. You start at a house with a broken car, put it together from parts, and drive into a desert that never ends. There is no finish line, so the question is how far you get.

## How the road trip works

The first job is the car. You find and fit the parts it needs to run, and a car that is missing something will not get far. Once it starts, you are on the road with whatever you packed.

On the road you keep an eye on your vitals and the car at the same time. You stop at buildings along the way to scavenge fuel, food, parts and loot. Every stop is a trade: more supplies, but more time off the road and more chance of trouble.

The game keeps adding cars you can earn through quests, like the Transit Ace and the Blackout Car. Finish the quest and the car stays in your inventory.

Because there is no end, the fun is in the stories each run makes: the car that broke down at the worst moment, or the stop that paid off.

## Tips for a longer run

- **Carry spares**: Parts break. A spare in the trunk saves the run.
- **Fuel at every chance**: An empty tank in the middle of nowhere is the usual way trips end.
- **Watch your own stats**: Your vitals matter as much as the car's.
- **Pick your stops**: Short, quick stops beat long searches of every building.

## A Roam road survival game

Fuel or Die on Roam is a third-person road survival shooter set at the last fuel stop before the dead country. It is a separate game, not A Dusty Trip, with more shooting and the same fear of running dry.
