# Aquapark.io: the water slide race explained

Aquapark.io is a mobile racing game by Voodoo, released in 2019. Everyone drops onto one long water slide, and the first rider to reach the end wins. You can bump rivals off the edge, or fly off the slide yourself and land further down.

## How a race works

You steer left and right with one finger and gravity does the rest. The slide twists down a huge water park, and the bends are where races are won or lost. Hit a rider on a curve and they fly off the track.

The big move is leaving the slide on purpose. Launch off a bend, glide, and land on a lower section to skip a chunk of the course. Miss the landing and you are out. Blocks placed on the slide also stop you cold if you hit them.

It started on iOS and Android. Console and PC editions came later, including versions on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.


## Tips to finish first

- **Look before you jump**: Before a launch, find a lower part of the slide you can actually reach.
- **Bump on the bends**: Rivals are easiest to knock out where the slide curves.
- **Mind the blocks**: Obstacles on the track kill your run, so steer around them first and attack second.
- **Learn one shortcut at a time**: Races are short. Try one new jump per race instead of risking every bend.
