# Roblox BedWars: protect your bed, break theirs

BedWars is a Roblox team game by Easy.gg, released in May 2021. Teams start on sky islands, each with a bed. While your bed stands you respawn after dying; once it is broken, your next death takes you out of the match. The last team with a player left wins.

## How a match works

Your island has a generator that drops iron. Spend iron in the item shop on blocks, swords, armor and tools. Bigger generators on the other islands and in the middle give diamonds and emeralds, which buy team upgrades and stronger gear.

The first minutes are a race. Some players bridge across to rush an enemy bed, while others wrap their own bed in layers of blocks. Breaking a bed does not end a team: it just means their players cannot come back, so you still have to finish them.

- **Iron**: From your base generator. Buys blocks, basic weapons and tools.
- **Diamonds**: From island generators. Used for team upgrades.
- **Emeralds**: From the center. Buys the strongest items.

## Kits and modes

Before a match you pick a kit, a character with a special ability, such as extra mining or a unique weapon. Some kits are free every week and others are bought with Robux or unlocked through the battle pass. Beyond the classic team modes, BedWars has rotating modes such as Lucky Block, SkyWars and Infected, plus ranked play.


## Beginner tips

- **Defend first**: Cover your bed in two layers of different blocks before you leave the island.
- **Buy blocks, not just swords**: You cannot attack or defend without bridging blocks.
- **Hold the diamonds**: Team upgrades from diamonds help every player on your team.
- **Watch the bridges**: A player bridging toward you is easy to knock off before they land.

## Bed battles on Roam

There is no bed-battle game in the Roam feed right now, so make your own. Describe the islands, the shop and what happens when a bed breaks, then play it with friends and change the rules by asking.

For a blocky fight with friends that is already on Roam, Block Wars is a shooter where kill streaks earn bigger rewards. It is a separate Roam game, not Roblox BedWars.
