Dead Rails is a Roblox survival game from RCM Games that launched in 2025. You ride an old train across a desert full of the undead, alone or with friends, jump off to loot towns, and try to keep the engine burning to the end of the line. It is only on Roblox. ## How a Dead Rails run works

The train is your base and your clock. It burns fuel, and when the fuel runs out you stop moving, which is the worst thing that can happen out there. You can feed the furnace coal, and you can also drag defeated undead into it. Most players learn that grim trick in their first run.

Along the track you pass houses, small towns and banks. You hop off, grab what you can carry and get back on before the area turns on you. Banks hold some of the best loot, and the safe opens with a code or with dynamite. Gold and valuables sell for money that buys guns, ammo and supplies.

Nights are the hard part. More undead come out, and the safest plan is to keep the train rolling and fight from it. Near the end you reach a bridge that has to be lowered while the undead close in.


## Tips that keep a run alive

- **Fuel before you loot**: Top up the furnace before you leave the train. A stopped train at night ends most runs.
- **Carry what sells**: Gold and valuables are worth the walk. Junk only fills your hands.
- **Split the jobs**: In a group, one player guards the train while the others search buildings.
- **Save dynamite for banks**: A cracked bank safe can pay for the rest of the trip.
- **Play the events**: Bonds, a separate currency, mostly come from limited events and challenges.
