Doge is the Shiba Inu with the side-eye look, surrounded by colourful text like "such wow" and "very game". It is one of the most loved memes ever made. A Doge game puts that dog and that goofy text into something you can play.

Who Doge was

Doge was a real dog named Kabosu, a Shiba Inu from Japan. Her owner, a kindergarten teacher, posted the famous photo on her blog in 2010. In 2013 the internet added Comic Sans text in broken English, and Doge was born.

Kabosu lived a long and happy life and died in May 2024, aged 18. Fans around the world shared their thanks. There is even a statue of her in her home town of Sakura.

How the such wow style works

The Doge style has a few simple rules, and they make good game text too.

Two-word lines. Start with such, much, very, so or many, then add a word that does not quite fit. "Very jump." "Much coin."
Bright Comic Sans. Text in pink, green, yellow and blue, scattered around the dog.
End with wow. Every Doge picture needs at least one plain "wow".
