# Doors on Roblox: how a run works and how to survive the entities

Doors is a Roblox horror game by LSPLASH, released in 2022. You move through a haunted hotel one numbered door at a time, solo or with a small group, and each room can hide an entity that kills you if you react wrong. The hotel has 100 doors, and a second floor, The Mines, arrived in 2025.

## How a run works

You start in the elevator, open door 1 and keep going. Rooms are random each run, so you never memorize a layout. You grab gold, find keys for locked doors, and pick up items like lighters, flashlights and lockpicks. Knobs earned from runs buy items in the pre-run shop.

The library at door 50 and the final stretch at door 100 are the big set pieces. Both involve Figure, the blind giant that hunts by sound.


## The entities and what to do

- **Rush**: Lights flicker, then it screams down the hall. Hide in a closet or under a bed right away.
- **Ambush**: Like Rush but it comes back several times. Stay hidden and hop out between passes.
- **Seek**: Eyes on the walls warn you. Then it chases you, and you run, following the lit path.
- **Figure**: Blind but hears everything. Crouch, move slowly and hide when it gets close.
- **Screech**: Whispers in dark rooms. Turn and look at it to make it go away.
- **Eyes**: Floating purple light. Do not look at it or you take damage.

## Roam horror escapes with the same tension

TALLOW is a first-person escape from a house where someone keeps things tidy, and you only get out by staying quiet. Hazmat Hallways is a facility job: turn the power on and see what is there. Site-Void: Containment Breach is a sci-fi escape after something gets loose.

None of them are Doors, and Doors is only on Roblox. They are for when you want more room-by-room dread.
