# Fisch on Roblox: rods, reeling and islands

Fisch is a fishing RPG on Roblox created by WoozyNate. You reel fish in with a timing minigame, sail between islands, collect rods and hunt rare and mutated fish. It plays more like an adventure than a clicker.

## How reeling works

Cast, wait for a bite, then the minigame starts. A bar appears and you keep the fish inside your catch zone until the progress meter fills. Let it slip out too long and it gets away. Bigger and rarer fish move harder.

Before the reel there is a short shake step, where you tap to hook the fish. Better rods give you a bigger catch zone or more control, which is why the rod you hold matters so much on hard fish.


## Rods, islands and rare fish

- **Rods**: Each rod has its own stats, like luck, lure speed and control. Better rods make rare fish possible.
- **Islands**: You start on Moosewood and sail to other islands, each with its own fish and secrets.
- **Rarity**: Fish run from common to very rare, and the rarest are worth chasing for the collection.
- **Mutations**: Some fish come mutated, which changes how they look and how much they sell for.
- **Bait**: Different bait raises your luck or targets certain fish, so swap it for what you are hunting.

## Who runs Fisch

Fisch was created by WoozyNate. Do Big Studios was part of the development group for a while, and in August 2025 it left and handed ownership back to WoozyNate. The game is still updated with new areas and fish.

Do not confuse it with Fish It!, a separate Roblox fishing simulator by Fish Atelier with a simpler catch loop.
