# Garten of Banban: the kindergarten where the mascots stayed

Garten of Banban is a mascot horror series by the indie studio Euphoric Brothers. The first game came out on January 6, 2023, for free, and the series has grown to many numbered sequels on PC, phones and consoles. You enter Banban's Kindergarten, a bright children's center that is now empty, and find out what happened to the kids.

## What the games are about

You arrive at the kindergarten to look for your missing child. The halls are colorful and the posters are cheerful, but nobody is there. Under the building is a facility, and the mascots from the kids' shows are still around. They are huge, odd and not friendly.

The best-known characters are Banban, a red creature with a big grin, Opila Bird, a tall pink bird, and Jumbo Josh, a large green giant. Each game goes deeper underground and adds new mascots, and the series became a fixture of YouTube and TikTok horror videos for younger audiences.

## How it plays

Garten of Banban is first-person. You walk the facility, solve simple puzzles, find keycards and work machines. A small drone is one of your main tools: you fly it to press buttons and grab items in places you cannot reach.

Then a mascot shows up, and the game turns into a chase or a hide sequence. Most scares are big character moments rather than quiet dread. Each game is short, which is why many players run through the whole series. The puzzles are simple on purpose, so the pace stays on the mascots and the chases.
