# Illegal Soccer: football where every foul is allowed

Illegal Soccer is a Roblox soccer game by the developer Repotted, released in May 2026. Two teams of up to four play on a timer, and the team with more goals wins. There is no referee, so tackles, punches, guns, jetpacks and explosives are all part of the game.

## How a match works

A server holds eight players, split into Red and Blue. You can score any way you like. A question-mark item box appears on the pitch from time to time, one at a time. Walk into it and you get an item from your loadout, which holds up to three items.

Sabotage works on everyone, so an oil spill or a landmine can take out your own teammate. That chaos is most of the fun: a two-goal lead can vanish with one item pickup.


## Items and controls

- **Items**: Jetpack, Rocket Punch, Forcefield, Barricade, Oil Spill, Landmines and more. Three are unlocked at the start; others come from rolls in the Daily Shop with coins.
- **Move and sprint**: WASD to move, Shift to sprint.
- **Kick and pass**: Left click to kick or hit, right click to pass, F to lob.
- **Tackle and flick**: E to slide tackle, Q to flick the ball.
- **Dribble and items**: Space to dribble, 1 to use your item, R to call for the ball.

## Tips

- **Grab the box**: The item box changes most fights, so send someone toward it when it spawns.
- **Pass more than you think**: The ball carrier gets hit by everything.
- **Pick a defensive item**: Forcefield or Barricade near your goal stops a lot of cheap goals.
- **Watch your own traps**: Remember where your team dropped landmines.
