Jailbreak is a Roblox cops-and-robbers game by Badimo, released in 2017. Prisoners break out of jail and rob places around an open city, and police try to catch them. It is one of the longest-running hits on Roblox.

## Playing as a prisoner

You start in a cell. Your first goal is the breakout: find a way past the walls, grab a car and get to the criminal base. Once you are out, you become a criminal with a bounty.

Then the city is yours to rob. Classic targets include the bank, the jewelry store, the museum, the power plant, the train and the cargo plane. Each one has its own puzzle, like lasers or timed doors, and pays more the harder it is. Every robbery raises your bounty, which makes you a juicier target for cops.


## Playing as police

Police spawn with handcuffs and gear like spike strips. You track robberies as they happen, chase criminals and arrest them for their bounty. Good cops guard the big targets and set traps on escape routes.

Cars are the heart of both sides. You earn cash, buy faster cars, then upgrade them. Seasons add new cars, events and rewards.

- **Get a car early**: A fast car matters more than anything for both robbing and chasing.
- **Start small**: Easy robberies build cash with less risk than the biggest heists.
- **Watch the map**: Open robberies show up on the map, which helps both sides plan.
- **Team up**: Crews can split up a robbery and cover each other on the way out.
