# John Pork game: answer the call, or don't

Source: https://roam.new/john-pork-game/

John Pork is a made-up man with a pig's head who calls you. In the 2023 TikTok meme, your screen shows an incoming call from John Pork, and the caption says you should pick up. That simple setup is a great base for a spooky, funny phone-call game.

## Who John Pork is

The character is an edited picture of a man with a realistic pig head, presented as an online influencer. Some sources trace him back to Instagram around 2018. The calling meme arrived in March 2023, when TikTok posts showed a fake incoming call screen with his face and a ringtone. It spread into "John Pork is calling" edits, songs and comment jokes.

Later he joined the brainrot crowd. The Roblox game Steal a Brainrot added John Pork as an OG brainrot, with its own event named after the calling meme.

## The call game, one ring at a time

- **Ring one**: The phone buzzes. Answer, decline or put it face down. Each choice changes the night.
- **Missed calls**: Ignore him and the calls pile up. Soon the ringtone is coming from inside the house.
- **Voicemail clues**: Each message hints where he will call from next.
- **Strange contacts**: Friends call too. Some of them are really John Pork with a new name.
- **The last call**: The final call has to be answered. What he says depends on every choice you made.
