# New games on Steam that are actually catching on

This list is current as of November 3, 2026. The new Steam games people talked about in the last two weeks of October are mostly small, odd co-op games, plus one big action launch. Here is what each new one is, and which Roam game on iPhone scratches the same itch.

## New on Steam in late October 2026

Small teams, strange jobs and friends in the same lobby. Release dates are from each game's Steam page.

- **Moon Sweepers (DragDrop Games)**: Clean the whole moon, starting with a toothbrush. Collect lunar dust, sell it, buy better tools and vehicles. Up to 16 players per lobby, made by a two-person team, and it passed 50,000 players at once after its October 23 launch.
- **Hull Rupture (Konfa Games, tinyBuild)**: A tower defense roguelite on a spaceship that never stops moving. You build modules, place defenses and manage crew and resources while aliens attack. Out November 4.
- **REKA (Emberstorm, Fireshine Games)**: A witch apprentice builds up a walking hut on chicken legs, inspired by Baba Yaga. It left Early Access on October 26 after two years.
- **CRACK (Rafoli)**: A co-op game for 1 to 4 players. A giant egg sits in a lab, every bit of shell you break pays, and the money buys better ways to break the rest. Out October 26.
- **Scam With Your Friends (JakeHub, Metater)**: A dark comedy co-op game where you run a scam call center and trick AI callers. In Early Access since October 15, with a full release planned for mid-December. Check the humor before playing with kids.
- **Nomad Drive (Indie Devil)**: First-person driving survival in an RV you repair and upgrade, solo or in online co-op for up to four. In Early Access since October 27.

## The bigger new arrivals

Probably Stolen, a cyberpunk shopkeeper sim from Questing Goose Studio and tinyBuild, launched October 28 and sold over 200,000 copies within hours, by the studio's count. You decide what to buy, what to pay and what not to ask about. Phantom Blade Zero, S-GAME's wuxia action RPG, peaked at over 700,000 players at once on Steam at launch. Football Manager 27 is next: it launches November 10.

Free and new: Counter-Strike 2 is still the most played game on Steam, and the October Steam Next Fest left a pile of free demos behind. Worst Class Ever's demo was the most played of the festival, and the full game is dated November 9.


## The same ideas, phone-sized, on Roam

The pattern this week is simple: one strange job, a group of friends, and a number that goes up. Roam, a free iPhone app, has games built on the same ideas. Scam Call Crew is a comedy call-centre scam sim where the phones never stop. Locker Flip is a storage-auction flipping tycoon: bid on the box, then find out what you won, close to Probably Stolen's buy-low feeling. Eat the Customers is a shop sim with a predator twist. Pressure Wash is the cleaning-sim pull of Moon Sweepers in one tap: hold spray and watch the mud melt.
