The big new sims of 2026 are about running a small business or doing one job very well. Probably Stolen made pawn shops the hit of late October, and Roblox has its own wave of shop sims with a twist. Here is what you actually do in each, then some stranger sims you can play on Roam today.

## The new sims worth your time

Sorted from newest to oldest. Each line says what your hands are doing for most of the game, because that is what decides if a sim is for you.

- **Probably Stolen (tinyBuild, October 28, 2026)**: A cyberpunk pawn shop. Sellers bring in goods, you judge what they are worth and haggle. It sold over 200,000 copies within hours on Steam, by the studio's count.
- **Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (Digital Sun, September 2, 2026)**: Run a shop by day and raid a dungeon for stock by night. The 1.0 release came out of Early Access on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.
- **Sell Fries! [Anomaly] (Roblox, September 2026)**: A fry-shop tycoon with a horror twist: serve the line and watch for customers that are not quite right. One of the busiest new Roblox sims of the fall.
- **How to Fish (Dazed Games, August 20, 2026)**: A physics fishing sim with online co-op lobbies for up to eight. You are stranded on an island and catch and sell fish to get home. It passed a million players in two days.
- **PowerWash Simulator 2 (FuturLab, October 2025)**: The sequel to the 2022 hit. Point the nozzle, watch the grime go, move to the next job. On PC, Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch 2.

## Why job sims keep winning

A good sim gives you one clear job, shows the progress right away and pays you for it. Clean a patch, the patch shines. Sell an item, the money ticks up. That loop is why Supermarket Simulator and PowerWash Simulator stayed big for years.
