Every December, big Roblox games add snow, presents and limited items. Each developer sets its own dates, so nothing is fixed until the update drops. Here is what the main games usually do, how advent calendars work, and where to find Christmas obbies.

## What the big games usually do in December

Halloween just ended, and it shows the pattern. Most top games run their holiday events in a fixed window with a special currency and limited items. Christmas works the same way.

- **Adopt Me!**: Uplift Games runs a winter event with limited pets and items most Decembers. Its 2026 Halloween event ran from October 3 to October 31, so expect the winter one to follow in December.
- **Murder Mystery 2**: Nikilis' classic adds seasonal events with their own currency and limited knives. The 2026 Halloween event brought Candy, a Battle Pass and crafting, and a Christmas event usually uses the same tools.
- **Blox Fruits**: Gamer Robot ties big updates to holidays, like the Halloween update it promised for October 31. Watch its update log for a winter one.
- **Many others**: A lot of popular games add snow maps, gift items or a daily login calendar in December. Watch each game's update log from late November.

## How Roblox advent calendars work

Most follow the same rule: log in, claim the day's reward, come back tomorrow. Some let you catch up on missed days, some do not. If a game you love has one, check the rules on day one so you do not lose the final reward.

Codes also spike in December. Only use codes from the game's own social pages or its in-game news. Anything promising free in-game currency is a scam.


## Christmas obbies and winter games

Christmas obbies are their own genre on Roblox: candy-cane jumps, present stacks and an evil Santa at the end. Search Roblox for "Christmas obby" and new ones show up every year, so sort by rating and check the visit count.
