Ta Ta Ta Ta Sahur is one of the spin-offs that followed Tung Tung Tung Sahur, the wooden brainrot with a bat that went viral in February 2025. It is usually drawn as a worried, teapot-like figure, and it shows up as a Rare unit in the Roblox games Steal a Brainrot and Catch a Brainrot.

## Where the Sahur name comes from

Sahur is the meal Muslims eat before dawn during Ramadan. In Indonesia, groups walk the streets at night beating drums and calling out to wake their neighbours for it. 'Tung tung tung' copies that drum sound, which is why the first character carries a bat and its chant sounds like knocking.

Tung Tung Tung Sahur started as an AI-made image posted on TikTok in February 2025: a log-like wooden figure with a face and a bat. It spread with an AI voice chanting its name. Fans then made relatives with other sounds in the same rhythm. Ta Ta Ta Ta Sahur is one of them: four beats instead of three, a new body, the same joke.
