# Violence District: the Roblox game where one player hunts the rest

Violence District is an asymmetrical horror game on Roblox. One player is the killer. The others are survivors who repair generators, open the exit gates and try to get out alive. It plays a lot like Dead by Daylight, and you play it on Roblox.

## How a round works

Every round splits the server into two sides. The survivors spread out over the map and look for generators. Each generator takes time to repair, and the killer can hear and see the work going on. Once enough generators run, the exit gates power up and the survivors can escape.

The killer wins by catching survivors before that happens. Each killer has its own power, so one may be fast and another may be better at trapping or tracking. Survivors have no weapons. They win with stealth, by breaking line of sight and by helping teammates who got caught.

The game is still being developed, so killers, maps and balance change between updates.


## Tips for each side

- **Survivors: split up**: Two players on one generator is faster, but four in one spot makes the killer's job easy.
- **Survivors: learn the loops**: Walls, windows and pallets let you circle the killer and waste their time.
- **Survivors: rescue fast**: A caught teammate is a free survivor for the other side if nobody comes.
- **Killer: guard the last generators**: Chasing one survivor across the map lets the rest finish the job.
- **Killer: listen**: Repair noise and scared survivors give away more than you think.

## What to build if you make your own

Roam has no copy of Violence District, but the format is easy to describe. Pick a place, pick the killer, pick what the survivors have to fix. A school at night with a janitor, a mall with a mannequin, a cabin with your friend as the monster. You can change the rules after the first try by saying what feels wrong.
