The new party games
- Worst Class Ever (Funcore Games, launches November 9, 2026). For up to 6 players. One player is the teacher, the rest are students who blend in with the class and pull pranks without getting caught. About 600,000 people played its demo, according to the developer.
- Super Battle Golf (Brimstone, Oro Interactive, February 19, 2026). Online golf for 1 to 8 players where everyone plays at the same time and gets in each other's way with items. On Steam.
- How to Fish (Dazed Games, August 2026). Co-op chaos in online lobbies of up to eight: a desert island, a lot of fish, very little competence.
- The Jackbox Party Pack 12 (October 15, 2026). Five new games, including We Forgot a Card and Debate and Switch. Everyone plays on their own phone.
By group size and setup
Two of you on one couch? A short duel works best. Three or four online? A co-op game where things go wrong. Five to eight? Something everyone plays at once, like Super Battle Golf or a Jackbox pack. A whole class? A big-lobby knockout game.
- 2 players. BROADSIDE BLITZ on Roam: Versus mode, captain against captain.
- 2 players, co-op. Mind the Pane on Roam: two people, one pane of glass, a lot of traffic.
- A big group. Read My Head on Roam: friends join, everyone has a number on their forehead, read theirs first.
- Loud groups. Sound Like a Goat on Roam, a solo sound-copy game where your finger is your voice. Pass the phone and let the room judge.
