Slope: one ball, one neon track, no brakes
Slope is a 3D endless game where a ball rolls down a neon track that keeps speeding up. You steer left and right to stay on the tiles and dodge red blocks. One fall and the run is over. It is one of the most played games on school game sites.
How it plays
The controls are two keys: left and right, usually the arrow keys or A and D. The ball rolls on its own and gets faster the longer you last. The track twists, drops, splits into narrow strips and throws ramps at you. Red obstacles end the run on touch, and so does rolling off the edge.
Your score is distance. Because the speed keeps climbing, every run ends the same way, and the game is about pushing that point a little further.
Tricks for longer runs
- Steer less. Small taps beat long holds. Most falls come from oversteering at speed.
- Look ahead, not at the ball. Watch the track two or three tiles ahead so you can line up early.
- Stay in the middle. The center of the track gives you the most room to correct.
- Respect ramps. Jumps launch you far. Line up straight before you hit them.
- Play short sessions. Your reactions drop after a few tries. A break often beats ten more runs.
