Meme clicker: tap the meme, buy more memes

The loop, in four steps

Cookie Clicker set the template. Traffic peaked at 1.5 million hits in one day in August 2013, and it came to Steam in September 2021. Countless idle games copy its loop.

• Tap. Each tap on the big meme gives one point. It feels slow on purpose.
• Buy a helper. Spend points on something that taps for you, once a second.
• Stack. Each helper costs more than the last, but you earn faster, so you keep buying.
• Prestige. When growth stalls, reset for a permanent bonus and climb again, faster.

Meme upgrades that make it funny

The upgrades are where a meme clicker earns its laughs. Each one should be a meme people know, with its sound.

• Pop Cat. Opens its mouth on every tap. A small multiplier to start.
• Nyan Cat. Flies across the screen. Catch it for a burst of points.
• Stonks. Doubles everything for ten seconds, then the line goes down.
• Vine boom. Every tenth tap lands a huge boom and a critical hit.
• Brainrot shop. Unlock Tralalero Tralala and friends as top-tier helpers.
