Launched since summer 2026
Dates and numbers come from public Roblox trackers in September and October 2026. Player counts move fast, so treat them as a snapshot.
- Steal An Egg. Launched on 25 July 2026. You steal eggs from other players' bases and hatch them into pets that earn money, the Steal a Brainrot formula with pets. It peaked at about 14 million concurrent players on 19 September 2026, during a crossover update, and was still the most played game on Roblox in late October.
- DONT SPLASH. A water-themed horror obby that broke into the top dozen on Roblox in late October 2026, with about 100,000 players at once. Trackers credit different creators, so check the page before you join.
- Throw Food For Animals. From Goofy Chupacabra, one of the fastest risers of October 2026. You throw food to lure animals and spend what they earn on more throwing power.
- Slayers 2. A Demon Slayer-inspired RPG from Ouw Productions. It launched publicly on 18 September 2026 after early access and peaked above 230,000 players.
- Anime Dice. From More & More Games, released 15 August 2026. Roll dice for anime-style units, place them to earn money and upgrade.
What the new wave has in common
Look at the names and a pattern shows up: Steal a, Grow a, Ride a, +1 Speed. That is the 2026 Roblox title template. Each game has one verb, a number that goes up and a reason to come back tomorrow.
The other pattern is copies. Within days of a hit, lookalikes appear, such as Break and Steal an Egg. When you search for new Roblox games, check the creator name and visit count on the game page before you join, so you land in the original.
New Roam games that play the same way
Roam is a free iPhone app where you can play games from the feed or make your own. It is not Roblox and none of the games above are on it. These Roam games scratch the same itch.
If DONT SPLASH got you, DREAMPOOL is a liminal poolrooms walk: endless white tiles, warm water and a lost toy somewhere ahead. For obbies, Clack Obby has you jump key to key across a giant keyboard, and Don't Look Down climbs a city hanging in the sky. Sprout Stand is a farm stand tycoon, and CLUTCH is a one-rival, five-round arena duel.
