Pet Simulator 99 is a Roblox pet-collecting game by BIG Games, the studio founded by Preston Parks. It launched on December 1, 2023, as the sequel to Pet Simulator X. You hatch pets from eggs, send them to break coins and chests, and spend the money to unlock new zones with better eggs.

The core loop

Zones are grouped into worlds, such as the Tech World and the Fantasy World, and each world has its own currency and eggs. Huge and Titanic pets are the rare prizes that players chase and trade. Many players also join clans to take part in clan events together.

Hatch. Buy eggs with coins. Each egg holds pets of different rarity, from common to very rare.
Break. Your pets attack coins, chests and other breakables on the map and bring back currency.

BIG Games has made Pet Simulator games since the first one in 2018. Pet Simulator 99 reworked the series with a long line of zones to unlock, frequent events and a large trading scene. At launch, players could bring pets over from Pet Simulator X. New updates arrive often, so the zone count and the event list keep growing.

Equip your best pets. Check your team after every hatch session, not only the newest pets.
Open zones before farming. A new zone usually pays more than grinding the old one longer.
Use boosts together. Stack potions and events instead of using them one at a time.
Trade carefully. Only trade in the game's own trading system. Off-game deals are where scams happen.
