Tap Titans 2: tap to swing, hire heroes, prestige

Tap Titans 2 is an idle tapping RPG by Game Hive, released in December 2016 as a sequel. You play the Sword Master. Every tap is a sword swing at a titan, and the heroes you hire keep attacking even when you stop.

The tapping loop

Titans stand in front of you, one stage after another. Tap to hit them, and each kill drops gold. Gold levels up your Sword Master and hires heroes, who deal damage on their own. Skills give short bursts of extra power.

Each stage ends with a boss on a timer. Beat it in time and you move on. When the bosses get too strong, you have hit a wall, and that is where prestige comes in.

Prestige, artifacts and raids

Prestige. Reset your stage progress for permanent bonuses. You climb back faster every time.
Artifacts. Prestige unlocks artifacts, which make each next run stronger.
Gear and cards. Equipment and skill cards add more ways to build your power.
Clan raids. Fight raid titans with your clan. A raid has 1 to 8 titans and lasts three days.
Hero scrolls. Earned from raids, and used to upgrade the Sword Master further.

Tips and a Roam tap clicker

Prestige earlier than feels right. Pushing against a wall for an hour is slower than resetting and coming back with more artifacts. Spend gold as you get it, since idle gold does nothing. Join an active clan early, because raids are where a lot of the long-term power comes from.

On Roam, Hydraulic Press Crush is a timing clicker and Gold Digger is a digging idle tycoon. Neither is Tap Titans 2, but both give you the tap-and-upgrade loop in short sessions.
