Moto X3M: beat the clock, land the flip
Moto X3M is a series of motorbike stunt racing games by MadPuffers, played on web game sites such as Poki. Each level is a short obstacle track with ramps, loops and explosive traps. You race to the finish before time runs out, and you flip the bike in the air when there is room.
How to play
Levels are short, so a retry after a crash is quick. They are full of things that move or blow up: falling logs, saws, TNT and platforms that collapse. Crash and you restart at the last checkpoint. Finish fast to earn more stars, and in some versions stars unlock new bikes.
Landed flips take time off your clock, so they are worth doing. The key skill is landing on both wheels: a flip that ends on your helmet costs more time than skipping it.
- Up arrow or W. Speed up.
- Down arrow or S. Brake and reverse.
- Left and right arrows, or A and D. Lean the bike back or forward. In the air, this flips the bike.
The versions
Each game has its own set of levels with the same controls, so finishing one and moving to the next gives you new tracks without learning anything new.
- Moto X3M. The original game and its first set of tracks.
- Moto X3M Winter. The fourth game: icy ramps, snowmen and candy-cane bridges.
- Moto X3M Pool Party. Summer tracks with a pool party theme.
- Moto X3M Spooky Land. Halloween-themed tracks.
Tips for faster times
- Hold back on the brake. Most traps are timed, and full speed often hits them right on the beat.
- Flip only on long jumps. Short jumps do not give enough air to land clean.
- Lean before landing. Match the slope of the ramp so you keep speed.
- Learn a level, then race it. The first run is for finding the traps. The second is for the time.
