Roblox Studio for iPhone: is there a mobile version?

What Roblox Studio runs on

Roblox's own setup guide calls Studio "a free application available on Windows and Mac." The minimum is Windows 10 or macOS 10.14. Phones and tablets are not on the list.

Roblox does not publish a mobile version of Studio, so a "Roblox Studio APK" or iOS download on another site is not from Roblox. On a computer, Roblox's guide gives three steps:

• Step 1. Go to the Creator Hub at create.roblox.com and click Download Studio.
• Step 2. Run the installer: RobloxStudio.exe on Windows, RobloxStudio.dmg on Mac.
• Step 3. Click Launch Studio when it finishes, then sign in with your Roblox account.

What you can use on iPhone, iPad and Android

The Roblox app is free on the App Store, for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play. It is built for playing, but two tools inside it let you make something.

• Roblox Build. Roblox's own AI tool, a tab in the Roblox mobile app. You describe a game, refine it by chatting and publish in one tap. It is for users 9 and older with an age check. You get free prompts each day and can buy more credits with Robux. It suits simple 2D and 2.5D games for now.
• Build in the US. Build is rolling out gradually, starting with New Zealand. A summary of Roblox's Q3 2026 earnings call says a broader US rollout is planned for December 2026. No Build tab means it has not reached you yet.
• Studio Lite. A Roblox experience made by the creator ScottSpiritWalker, not by Roblox. Search for it in the Roblox app and press Play. It has build tools, scripting and tutorials, and you can publish to your Roblox profile after one-time setup, which needs a Roblox API key.

Make a game on your iPhone without Roblox

If you want a game to play tonight, not a Roblox place to publish, Roam is another path. In this iPhone app you describe a game in a sentence, or start from a photo, and it comes back playable. You change it by talking, like "more enemies" or "make it two-player". No code, no project file.

Is Roblox Studio free on iPad?

Studio is free, but there is no iPad version. On an iPad you can play in the free Roblox app, open Studio Lite inside it, and use Build once it reaches your region.

Can you get Roblox Studio on Android?
