Survive the Killer: hide, run and make it to the exit
Survive the Killer is a Roblox horror game by Slyce Entertainment. Each round, one player becomes the killer and everyone else tries to survive. Survivors hide and run until the time is up or the exits open, and the killer tries to catch them all first.
How a round works
A map is picked, often a camp, a mansion or a carnival, and one random player becomes the killer. Survivors get a short head start to scatter. Then the killer is released with a knife and the hunt is on.
Survivors cannot fight back. They hide in closets and dark corners, keep moving and watch each other's backs. Near the end of the round the exits open, and reaching one counts as an escape. Survivors earn coins and experience for staying alive, and the killer earns them for each catch. If every survivor is caught first, the killer wins the round.
Coins buy knives, emotes and effects. Many players spend more time collecting knife skins than anything else, and codes have given out free knives and boosts at times.
Tips for survivors
- Do not hide where everyone hides. Popular closets are the first places a killer checks.
- Move when the killer moves. Footsteps hide your footsteps.
- Know where the exits are. When they open, you want a short run, not a search.
- Help when it is safe. Distracting the killer for a teammate is brave, but only if you have a way out.
Tips for the killer
- Sweep in a loop. Checking the map in a circle catches players who move behind you.
- Camp the end. As the exits open, standing between survivors and the door pays off.
- Listen. Running survivors are loud, and quiet spots often hold more than one.
