My Talking Tom: raise a cat that talks back

My Talking Tom is a virtual pet game by Outfit7, released in November 2013. You adopt Tom as a kitten and look after him as he grows: feed him, wash him, put him to bed and play mini-games. He also repeats what you say in a funny voice, the trick that made the first Talking Tom app famous in 2010.

How you care for Tom

As you level up, Tom grows from a kitten into an adult cat. Coins buy food, clothes, fur colors and furniture for his home, so every Tom ends up looking different. Leave him alone too long and his needs drop, so most players check in a few times a day.

Food. Feed him snacks when his hunger bar drops.
Bathroom. Take him to the bathroom and wash him when he gets dirty.
Sleep. Turn off the lights to put him to bed so his energy refills.
Play. Mini-games earn coins and keep him happy.
Talk. Speak to your phone and Tom repeats it. Poke him and he reacts.

The Talking Tom family of games

Outfit7 started with Talking Tom Cat in 2010, a simple app where Tom repeats your voice. My Talking Tom (2013) turned it into a full pet game. My Talking Tom 2 came out in 2018, and My Talking Tom Friends (2020) lets you care for Tom, Angela, Hank, Ginger, Ben and Becca in one house. Talking Tom Gold Run is an endless runner with the same characters.
